These last few weeks have been really positive and fun. I've been to more outings, birthday parties, and just social gatherings in general since the year began than I did in all of last year.
I'm feeling confident about my ability to balance my goals, a healthy lifestyle, and yes even friends. I love that feelings. I love feeling love. And nothing makes me feel more loved than a good pair of shoes.
Here are two ways to wear these amazing thigh-high mesh boots that are, once again, from the brand Liliana Footwear.

The first look is really clean. The cuts of the outfit are closer to the body with just a bit of a flare on the shirt sleeves. There are a few different textures competing in the outfit, but the large amounts of negative space created by the solid colors cancels it out.
I wore this to my cousin's engagement brunch a few weeks ago (STILL FREAKING OUT, BTW SO EXCITED FOR THEM!!!!) and I am shocked I didn't get any fried chicken or waffle on a white shirt. The most high God was looking out for me that day.

The skirt is actually a long dress I've been playing with for a while now. It was going to be a hoodie and I'm still not sure what I want to make it in to. The original idea was an ankle-length T-shirt. But at the last minute before brunch my leggings got a tear. So I grabbed the first thing that matched the color and improvised it into this knot skirt when I was in the Lyft.
This second outfit is more my speed. I'm not sure where the sweater's from, my mom got it for me one day. The skirt I made as more of a loungewear option and the top is just something I picked up from Target.

This outfit was a little bit of a sleeper hit. I've worn it more than once and every time someone comments that it's surprisingly cute. I feel the same way about it! This time I wore it with my studded thigh-highs and I styled them as booties.
From far away they blend in with the outfit, especially since the skirt is already priming the senses to accept prints, but then the light hits them or you look juuuuust a little closer and BOOM. The whole outfit's a little spicier. I believe in kicking it up a notch.
And in case no one has told you lately:
I believe in you, too!
